Recipe for continuing with great abandon

25

Sometimes
the best choice is simply
to raise both hands while
holding tight to a heart full of courage,
then
take that giant leap of faith,
or that long walk into the dark ...
dare to do it  -
ride the biggest wave of your life

because

a gift may be waiting.

    1. Thanks, Connie ... was having some thoughts today & the task of searching
for images to illustrate my meaning helped bring some perspective.

  5. Are we really living if we don't challenge ourselves - jump without a net sometimes - try new-to-us ideas and live free? I love each and every one of these photos - but think I'll choose one, print it out and put it here in my studio for inspiration.

  6. oh wow great set of photos & thoughts!
when you fly (in your dreams) do you take a running start and jump or do you just sort of float up & soar? ( I jump, Old Man Crow floats)

    1. Rather an enigma, that picture ... conjures up all sorts of
unsettled questions [for me] but so good in spirit and daring !

  12. oh what a beautiful album of pictures. I don't fly in dreams anymore - ever... . But I think of dancing as flying and being vulnerable as flying and openly caring for another as flying... (will I have a flying dream NOW? now that I've said 'never'?)

  13. Can't understand it, been weeding all morning and now I feel at least 3' above the ground. I suppose it is the joy you do something with that makes you fly. Normally I feel grounded with my hands in the earth but today is so different, the soil is perfect and moist . . if my body served me I would not come inside at all.
Those photos need no words, they say it all.
Aren't you too young to know about sputņik??
