Texture Tuesday ... taking the back road

14

Chased some light
down a narrow farmland road
on what was an otherwise ordinary morning
in the Skagit valley.

I'd found god beams*

~ masses of them ~

so I said to the fluffy one riding in back,
it's time to pull over & pay homage.

*otherwise known as crepuscular rays

    1. Had quite a few errands to run, but I didn't want to leave my roadside perch.
Dawg and I could have happily spent an hour watching those doG beams shift & move ....

  4. Yes, I always thought these kind of rays were god shining down from the clouds when I was a girl. Didn't have religion as a child, but i guess I was always spiritual.
    Beautiful image. xxoo,

  5. So beautiful, the rays of light over a barren winter field. The contrast is wonderful.
