Homage to my mower

14

She's loud,
she's raucous,
and she's got a wicked edge on her.
She can cough like a smoker and guzzle with the best of them,
but when those wheelies hit the sod,
it's all lawn poetry to me.

: : :

Forgive me,  for I have sinned and broken my promise ("not another garden tool!")...
the silliness of it all was too hard to resist....

  1. Few people would write an 'ode' to their mower -- this must mean yours is very special! *smile*

    1. I like my vacuum, too, but he's not near as vah-roooooom as the mower.

  4. I think it's lovely. Tools and basic objects make life as we know it possible - they deserve our respect and honour, and yes, a nice ode or homage now and then...
Also thank you for introducing '10-line Tuesday' recently - I am in bloglove.
